ABOUT US

THE HISTORY OF STEELE SCHOOL

Once upon a time there was a Christian School for 5-18 year old children. It was called Maranatha Christian School. It was a wonderful school that operated at 71st and Oak Street for over 30 years on a beautiful campus with 15 acres, 5 playgrounds, and a petting zoo full of ponies, sheep, goats, ducks, and geese. It was a happy place and the children and staff loved it. In 2011 they decided it was time to retire and sold the campus to a charter school named Two Roads Charter School.

Hello! I am the Director. I was born in California and moved to Colorado in 2008. I have been working with children for 20 years. I graduated from the University of Wyoming and Cal State Fullerton with an Early Childhood Education degree along with my CDA (Child Development Associate) from Ellis University. My husband and I have been together since 1997 and married in 2009. We have an adorable son and a horse (OK she’s just a really big dog 🙂 ).

Susan Rider is the Director of Linden Early Learning Center. She has been in the field of early childhood for 50 years. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Colorado State University in Human Development and Family Relations and also a Master’s Degree from Concordia University St. Paul in Early Childhood Education. Her two sons are married and each has a son. Her passion is working with and for infants and toddlers.

Your child is special with a unique personality and learning style which we embrace wholeheartedly. We offer a number of programs tailored to meet the needs of your child.

At the Linden School for Early Learning, children are grouped according to development stages to optimize their learning potential and social groups. To learn what program your child would benefit most from and the curriculum of that class, please feel free to schedule a tour with our Director or Owner.
